	Sara Zeff Geber, Ph.D. Sara Zeff Geber is an independent leadership and organizational development consultant, author, and speaker. Her company, Sky Ridge Consulting Group, Inc. is based in Woodside, California. She specializes in interpersonal communication skills, team building, and leadership coaching. Sara works effectively and smoothly at all levels in the organization, from executive staff to self-managing work teams. Much of her work focuses on helping groups design effective plans to meet high-level, strategic initiatives. She is a master facilitator and has proven her ability to work with even the toughest teams to analyze systems and work processes, structure changes, and follow-up on actions to make those changes happen.
Executive and leadership coaching is another strong piece of Sara's consulting practice. She is currently working with six leaders, including one company president and four vice-presidents of Silicon Valley companies. Prior to starting her own company, Sara spent six years as an internal OD and training consultant at Lockheed Missiles and Space Company. During that time she developed and delivered numerous training programs for managers and executives including a 20-hour negotiation skills course, and an 80-hour comprehensive management development program. In addition, Sara was frequently sought-out as a leadership coach for executives and managers in various areas of the company. Using her insight into the struggle for power and achievement in an ultra-competitive world, Sara was able to assist many leaders to be more effective in attaining their goals while maintaining the critical work relationships. Sara is the author of How to Manage Stress for Success, AMACOM Books, 1996, and co-author of "Serving Our Community," a customer service training program for service providers in the public sector. The latter is now being utilized by private industry as well. Sara earned a B.A. in Psychology from West Chester State University in Pennsylvania, a M.A. in Education from the University of Colorado, and her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. She has been on the faculty of the American Management Association since 1994 and teaches in the executive MBA program at Golden Gate University. Since 1986, Sara has worked with corporations and non-profit agencies around the world to help broaden awareness of the importance of honest, open communication in organizational life. Her clients include: American Hotels, Becton Dickinson, Chevron, City of Mountain View, City of Stockton, Collagen Corporation, Conner Peripherals, Hewlett Packard, Hitachi Data Systems, LSI Logic, Motorola, Siemens Medical Systems, Texas State Government, The Money Store, United Technologies, Underwriters Labs, United Way, and Ziff-Davis Publishing.
